Titling and Typography

The name of the magazine needs to be something catchy and makes people want to read the magazine. It won't have the same reputation of some magazines which achieve attention just from there names and you know the content will be good so the name has to be something that people remember.It has to be an appropriate name, nothing crude or immature. It also has to make sense as a Rock magazine and the audience it will be for. When I've picked a name i will need to choose a font which will work well with the theme of my magazine.

The typography is important because it draws people in and if a font or style is chosen which dosent speak to the target group it wont be successful.  For example "comic sans" is a font often assoiated with school so it wont interest people to buy a comic sans magazine. I want a short title so i can make it bigger on my front cover so its more recognizable and stands out more. Also many famous magazines have short names such as "OK" "GQ" "NME" "KERRANG" magazines.
