I'll need to decide which colour/colours i will need to use most on my cover and 2 page spread. The colour typically used on Magazine covers for the main text is red because it stands out more than other covers and it's eye catching so people are more likely to notice and purchase it, however red also connotes aggression and i don't want my magzine to have angry connotations linked with it. I will experiment with different colors to see which one would be better for my cover and make multiple mood boards so i have fully researched the color's and which ones will be best for my magazine. Because it's a Rock themed magazine i will probably choose a colour which is bald and vibrant and not faded, and a dark colour because not many Rock magazines have colours such as Pink or Yellow, as these may be seen as too bubbly and more like a "Pop magazine" than a rock magazine.
